Leadership and Adult Involvement

The Lion of Judah Community is concerned with the spiritual, emotional, and physical safety of all of the youth who come to us. All adult members are trained, fingerprinted, and background checked as required by the Diocese of Camden Office of Save Envrionment.

Fr. Allen Lovell Spiritual Director of Lion of Judah Prayer Community

  • BS in Engineering - Penn State
  • MS in Engineering - Princeton University
  • PhD in Engineering - Princeton University
  • MA in Systematic Theology - St. Charles Seminary

Fr. Allen was ordained for the Diocese of Camden in May 2002. He has been with Lion of Judah since 2000. He is working as the chaplain at Paul VI High School in Haddonfield, NJ. He is currently at St. Margaret's in Woodbury Heights, NJ.

Judith Polistina - Servant Leader of Lion of Judah Prayer Community

  • BA+ in Education - Rowan University
  • MA in Moral Theology - St. Charles Borromeo Seminary
  • Certification in Catholic Social Ministry - St. Charles Borromeo Seminary

Judy is one of the founders of LOJ. She has worked with youth for the past 20 years. She is a teacher and math specialist in a public school. She is part of music ministry, and did vocals on the LOJ CD, "All of the Nations".

Judy was/is a member of all of the following:

  • Disciples In Mission/Youth for three years;
  • Office of Evangelization/Camden Diocese for three years;
  • Family Life Committee with Camden Diocese for one year;
  • Camden Diocesan Charismatic Conference Steering Committee for 14 years;
  • Member of the Camden Diocesan Youth Advisory Board for 6 years;
  • Trenton Diocese Charismatic Steering Committee for youth for 2 years.

Judy has attended World Youth Day in the Philippines, France, and Canada. Judy disciples the members of the discernment team in their ministries.
