The Discernment Team:
The discernment team is responsible for the direction of the community. It's members are the leaders and co-leaders of the other teams. The Teaching Ministry Team: The teaching ministry plans the prayer meetings, helps at retreats in skits, testimonies, teachings, small groups, etc. The teaching ministry is loosely organized and can include members chosen for specific events. Also see Guidelines for Teachers The Music Ministry Team: The music ministry team leads praise and worship at prayer meetings and other events. This ministry is not for entertainment. Rather those in music ministry are first and formost leaders of worship. They must learn to sense the direction of the meeting and inspire/encourage those present to follow the Lord. The Servant Team: The Servant team consists of those who are beginning to develop in community. They assist the core and ministry teams by doing a lot of behind the scenes work. The Servant team is vital to Lion of Judah's ministry. It teaches virtue and also shows the need for commitment. The servant team is a special calling, and all are asked to take this commitment to serious prayer before making a decision to join the team. The Young Adult Group: Young Adult Group (YAG) consists of a team of Young adults in spanning ages from highschool seniors to about 25, whose mission is to grow and share in the Lord through each-other and community. This involves learning how to support each other in our maturing journeys of faith as young adults while also learning to be good role models and mentors for others in community. |
