Those ministering in the community must be committed to living their lives as committed Catholic Christians including a committment to regular daily prayer, frequent reception of the sacraments, and faithfulness to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
In addition, members are expected to show committment to the Lion of Judah community by:
- Regular attendance at prayer meetings and ministry team meetings.
- You should have a love of ministry and a desire to bring souls to the Lord.
- Generally you must have attended faithfully for at least 6 months.
Ministry team members must show evidence of spiritual maturity. and must have completed the Life in the Spirit Seminar with Lion of Judah.
In addition to these general characteristics, some ministries have additional requirements:
Teaching Ministry:
- You must have what you intend to give. - Personal testimony is a big part of any prayer meeting teaching.
- You must have a basic knowledge of scripture and teaching of the Catholic Church.
- You must be willing to present your talk to the teaching ministry before it is given at the prayer meeting.
Music Ministry:
- You must attend regular practices, music meetings, prayer meetings, and other community functions.
- You must be consistent in your committment to play or sing.
- You must understand the ministry of praise and worship.
- You must have a good knowledge of the songs played and take responsibility to learn new songs.
- You must have a basic knowledge of scripture and teaching of the Catholic Church.
- You must keep a music binder organized and updated.
